WARNING: Do Not Spin Device While Brush is on Camera’s Sensor
Read complete instructions below before using your spinning device
Requires 2 "AAA" batteries. Use high quality batteries for best performance. Remove the batteries before traveling on an airplane.
Do not use on camera chamber or parts other than sensor, otherwise you will smear the sensor.
Wash inside the cap occasionally with mild soap or in case of a smear.
The brush is already inserted into the device, however if the brush comes off (or if you pull it out of the device to wash the brush filaments), you can always attach it back to the device. Do not use glue! The brush is meant to attach to device without glue.
When removing the cap, do not pull straight off. Instead, "unscrew the cap following the arrows direction"
Turn the device on and spin the brush 3 times for 5 seconds. This will enhance the fiber charges and dislodge any particles within the fibers via centripetal force.
Take the Arctic Butterfly® - 724 and gently brush across your sensor ONCE. Do not spin the brush while on sensor! Keep your fingers away from the power button on the device while cleaning the sensor to prevent accidental spinning.
Release the camera shutter and proceed with checking the image for evidence of dust particles.
Repeat steps 6 through 8 if necessary.
'Wet' Cleaning Method
Discard swab wrapping. (suggest blowing off with bulb blower to remove any fibers that may have shed in transport)
Apply cleaning liquid evenly across edge, taking precaution not to oversaturate the swab.
Insert swab width wise to the width of the sensor.
Rotate once inside chamber.
Contact sensor so that swab width is edge to edge of the height of sensor.
Wipe (gently, firmly) across width of sensor, edge to edge.
Lift off sensor, rotate swab width to width of sensor and remove.
Sensor Clean™ Instructions
Refer to your camera's manual on how to expose the sensor.
Brush the sensor surface with Arctic Butterfly®, Sensor Brush™ or use VisbleDust hurricane blower ro remove any contaminants.
Wait to allow for even saturation of the swab (can be calibrated from a few seconds to 30 seconds depending on environmental conditions). Do not allow the swab to dry out.
Wipe across the sensor with gentle pressure "Once". Discard the swab.
Release the camera shutter.
Proceed with checking the image.
Allow the sensor to dry out completely. If needed, use the Arctic Butterfly® for complete cleaning.
