Accurate Ion & Static Charge Testing

The following videos were recorded to demonstrate how inaccurate measurements can be made when testing various blowers. Misleading testing results are often exploited by advertisers to market and sell lower quality imitation products.

From these correct testing videos, it's clearly visible that an ordinary blower, such as a rubber blower, can give off high and dangerous levels of static charge up to -29 Kv ( 1Kv=1000 v). It is important to remember that unless a test is done properly, the human body by itself can register high static charge on a voltmeter, altering any blower reading. This can make it appear that the blower or any object is the source of a static charge when in fact it isn't.
